I have been a professional D.J. for over 10 years. I was introduced to the music industry in Orlando, Florida. I followed around friends and other D.J.'s taking notes of the songs they were playing, when they worked, when they didn't, and their microphone etiquette. As my confidence and knowledge grew I started to learn the art of mixing. I had the honor of adding some great names to my resume such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, and many others before I moved to Massachusetts to start my own business.
I am a full-time D.J., doing an average of 200 events a year. I have a music library consisting of hundreds of thousands of songs from every genre and ethnic background. I use top of the line equipment including Allen & Heath, Numark, Pioneer, Denon, JBL, Mackie, Apple, Yamaha, and many other recognizable names, which allows my client, as well as myself, relax and focus on the music.
As a D.J. you can not do the same thing night after night, every event is different. Choosing the right song is not something that can be taught. It's a feeling you get as you watch the reaction of the people you are moving, and that's why I do what I do in one word, reaction.
When I'm not helping create memories I enjoy being home with my wife and four kids.
